Abiding Acres Prince Rupert descends from some old traditional American genetics and has impressed us since the day he was born. He had a 205 day weight of 590 lbs, 365 day weight of 884 lbs and weighed in at 1000 lbs at 15 months. He was raised without any extra inputs; just grass and momma’s milk.
Prince Rupert brings many maternal characteristics to the table as well. His dam is still in production as of 2021 and is raising her 20th natural calf at 22 yrs old and has been flushed several times. Rupert has solid feet and legs, large testicles, a slick hair coat and and excellent temperament. He is calving ease and safe for use on heifers, 70 Lb average calf birth weight.
